Hypothetically, if Final Crisis was to end in a reboot, what changes would you like to see? What would you add back in? What would you like to see taken back out?
I'll try to cover everything.
Power Levels: I would reinforce the idea that Superman is the most powerful hero on earth. I would not push him back into his silver age abilities. I actually think that Superman is about the level he should be. Its everybody ELSE that would take a slight power drop.
Origin: Something new, but remisent of things past. keep the good, ditch the bad (soul vision). I would also have him operate as Superman at a younger age (college-like young) but not operate as Superboy. Hopefully this would meet a comprise to fans of both ideas, and help to stop the court battle.. I would keep the Kents alive, and incorporate certain elements of the TV show Smallville like Chloe, Pete being a African American, and Clark paying football.
Krytonite: I would stick to green at least at first, causing him great pain by turning the solar energy in his cells against himself. IF other colors were to be introduced, I'd hope there were plausible reasons for them.
Rogues gallery: I actually think they are perfect the way they are, add in a few more and have him fight evil on not only earth and the streets of Metropolis, but cosmic scales as well.
I would get rid of ALL other Kryptonians, truly making Superman "the last son of Krypton. Finally, I would erase the marriage to Lois Lane...
