OOOooo! I want to share!!
Haunting...Bad Ass!!
My first comic...and a very S&M Predator...LOL. Still love it.
The hills are aaaalive with the sound of muuuusic!
I wanted this signed poster sooooo bad! Being 12 and broke sucked! Machiko and Broken Tusk awesome!!
This parody was HILARIOUS! The Editor strikes again!
I point to this close up as my spring board to learning to draw the Predator so well. Chris Warner represented the Predator soooo well. :D

Well it should come as no surprise that my favorites are of course relating to Guy Gardner.
Guy Gardner #1
This was my first Guy Gardner comic, after which I had to get as many as I cuold get my hands on.
He's pretty badass with a GL ring too, maybe even better.

The first comic my Dad gave me as a kid. Why anyone would give this to a 12 year old in 1984, I have no idea.
<img src="http://www.projectfanboy.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=938&stc=1&d=1220661169">
The second one he got me.
<img src="http://www.projectfanboy.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=939&stc=1&d=1220661169">
This one I got eventually, but the cover is classic. They even snuck this scene into the Movies.
<img src="http://www.projectfanboy.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=940&stc=1&d=1220661169">
And this, at the age of 12, is the first comic back issue I ever bought, with my own money, at the convention held the 1st Sunday of everymonth, at the Coliseum Motor in, on Long Island. My dad would bring me & my brother. Dad & Chris bought baseball cards. Dad & I bought comics. Those cons were one of the very few things the three of us enjoyed together. They made this cover into a t-shirt several years ago. I still own it. I wear it whenever my Dad comes to visit FL or I hit NY. I never mention it, or why I'm in it. It's just my private litle "Thank you, Dad".

I've been trying to find the cover to my first comic book online some where but so far I haven' been able to find it.
I'm almost positive it was a Captain America special issue (I think it was an annual). It had the title in red, white and blue and had Gilgamesh (I think) punching at Captain America's shield. The story was a Kang arc. The Avengers were stuck in some sort of time bubble thing that held several different era's in one major city structure inside the bubble.
Thor was stuck at Ellis Island coming through with imigrants and someone renamed him Joe Smith or something and then he started to fade away because he was a god that no one believed in at the time and apparently needed the faith of people to exist. I think it was also the issue where Gilgamesh either died or was dying at Avengers HQ.
This might have been an Avengers comic but I think it was Captain America Annual between 1986 and 1991 ish?

And I own the original art to this Cover. Freakin' gorgeous Rick Leonardi work...Joe Rubenstein did the inks...I don't remember. Either way, I got it for 20 bucks when I was 19. That's the symbiote costume, too...
Here's a pic, sorry it's so crappy...took it with my phone...of the original.

The first comic I remember reading was a Brave and the Bold. It had something to do with Batman and Superman fighting Nazi soldiers I think.
It was a long time ago, it is the first one I remember, but not my first comic I am sure. My dad used to buy dc comics all the time for me long before I could read.
I was predisposed to be a batfan and I still have my superman curtains packed away. :)

Can't remember my first ever, think it may have been an old Hulk comic from the 70s or very early 80s. Had some Batman from that same time period too.
The comic that started my days of serious collecting was Uncanny X-Men #222.

the first comic I read was a really old one my dad had from when he was a kid, no idea the title, as the cover had fallen off, but it had Superboy in it and the reason why Lex Luthor hates him (made him bald) also there was some Green Arrow stories, as well as the origin of Thor. I can't remember that well as it was a looooong time ago. the first comic I got for myself was actually a various stack of them I got for Christmas one year, the one I remember the most was a Green Lantern where Kyle Rayner was fighting Major Force after finding his girlfriend in the freezer, and as he was about to kill Force, Alan Scott shows up and breaks up the fight (at least that is what I think happened, as I didn't get comics again for another ten years, back into it now for a few years though) I think it was GL 55 or 56, I am not sure.
