Now joined on his quest by Great Sword Vogel, Witch Hunter Magnus Gault traces the source of the Chaos contamination to a battlefield that saw one of the Empire's greatest defeats. Venturing inside the labyrinthine Skaven-infested caverns, Gault and Vogel join forces with Vargni the dwarf (from WARHAMMER: FORGE OF WAR) and together they uncover the origin of the corruption that has been plaguing the land.

Reviewer Comments:
Condemned by Fire follows Great Sword and the Witch Hunter as they venture forth to rid the world of the accursed plagued. Many obstacles await our heroes as they cross the multitude world of the original Warhammer universe.

This story opens with great dialogue and appealing characters to start off. Much history stems around this world remade from the classic Warhammer minis. Not to mention the story seems to have a lot more bulk to it then other Warhammer like stories. It sticks well with the Dungeons and Dragons feel this type of story should have. Though the artwork isn’t as detailed as the forty K line, the art is beautiful in it’s own aspect, and gives the story the feel it needs. While good inner and outer dialogue are great, the only complaint I really have about this story is not enough character differences are seen in this particular issue. Not to say there isn’t, I just felt like there could had been more. Not a bad jump on point of this particular series, especially if you’re a fan of the minis of old.
