Publishers Blurb:
Welcome to the hyper-violent hilarity of BLOOD BOWL, the miniseries that puts the fantasy (as in elves, dwarves, orcs, and ogres) back into football! As the Bad Bay Hackers enter the semi-final round of the Blood Bowl Championship, an assassin still plagues their play. They’d put a stop to it if they weren’t too busy battling the tentacled terrors of the Chaos All-Stars for their lives!
Reviewer Comments:
Number four of this series brings us closer to the end, while at the same time taking a few steps back. Battle after battle has brought the Hackers to this point, and trust me it doesn’t get easier for them.
The story as always isn’t the most elaborate, but still plenty of gore and explosions to go around. The dialogue is a bit more flowing then earlier issues, but still not a whole lot of character dynamic, then of course the usual. The only thing that really stood out with this issue was some of the art was so dark it was hard to tell what was really going on in some of the panels. Also there was quite a few twists at the end, that could make issue five very interesting. If you’re a fan of the series this issue doesn’t disappoint. However if you haven’t picked up this series before, start at the beginning if you want to give it a shot. The series isn’t a long one, has some interesting dynamics to it, and the artwork is pretty cool, when you can make out what’s going on.
