Title: Voltron: A legend Forged
Publisher: Devils Due
Writer: Josh Baylock
Art: Julia Bax
Number of pages: 28(With Ad's) 24(Without)
Price: $3.50
Full Color
Publishers Blurb: The historic time-travelling origin of Voltron continues to unfold as the evil Empress Jain attempts to harness arcane magic that could extend her power throughout the galaxy. Freedom's only hope lies in the hands of a small cabal hard at work to craft the ultimate defensive weapon.
Reviewers Comments: Although not very knowledgeable about the Voltron universe, this issue was very easy to follow. From begging to end, this was a story that flowed well and made we want to keep turning the pages. Without having read previous issues, I still knew what had occurred in them, and in that Josh Baylock succeeds. There was alot of dialogue, but none of it felt stuffy, forced, or unnecessary. The art, although not super detailed, was a good fit for the story, and I really enjoyed it. Definitely worth the buy, and you guys reading should pick it up.
