Why do some many Batman fans hate Damian?

I occasionally read dc comics. Im not much updated with what is happening. but why is it I see alot hate for damian? I visit other comic book sites and forums and is like all the time i see batman fans hating damian.

is he going to become the next batman?

I think Bat fans hate him because they're supposed to. He hasnt done anything to be a likable character, which seems to be the point. He's a spoiled, obnoxious brat. And he's the Batman's son.

Kinda funny when you think about it.
