What's the deal with this?

I don't recall the issue in a Thor comic, but from the shoddy looking art, I am going to assume, with pretty good certainty, that it is a What if, similar to the time Thor snapped Hulk's neck and killed him.
We know he can't crush it under normal in-continuity circumstances, he has shown that time and again.
