True - But I suppose, potentially, a GL ring has unlimited power - You'd just need a *really* freaky imagination to make that power as devastating as it could possibly be.

even tho his board is nice & shiny, Norrin would get fall to Hal (especially since Norrin tends to hold back when he 1st comes upon an opponent, and Hal *would* capitalize on that fast)......who is FAR from Rayner in combat effectiveness.

I'm a big GL fan but I don't think I've seen a GL that could keep up with Norrin's speed. The ring would make up for a lot as far as strength, etc but I don't think he could really do much about being outclassed in speed.

as for the speed, even as far back as Ganthet's Tale we've seen Hal flying at almost ftl and clobbering his target, but the odds of Norrin doing this out of any 3 fights are micron-thin to none.

and anyways, if Hal could catch Barry Allen (he has, and w/o a prob) then I dont see any1 else giving him a prob.

Hal caught Barry? As in, he flew as fast as Barry was running? Or he caught him in a bubble when Barry was running? Either way.. very impressive. You have scans of this?

Was Barry running at full speed? Because there's a big difference between near FTL anf FTL. Wondergirl's right though, catching Barry would be impressive... I'd like to see scans to that as well. Don't have any laying around, I imagine?

theres also the little realized Circle of Fire -bit involving Kyle where he goes from the center of the universe (aka Oa's spatial location) to Earth.....via flight and NOT using any wormholes, and it didnt take as much time as U would have thought it took to do so given their relative distances (seemed as though it happend w/in the same day they left Earth).

Catching Flash when he doesn't want to be caught is a feat in and of itself, but how do we know he was going full speed? Looked like he didn't even know Hal was there.

As far as GL keeping up with him in that other scan speed wizes, again I'mnot sure he was going FTL.. granted GL is a lot faster than I thought I suppose.

He might stand a chance against the surfer, but he'd be hard pressed I think.

I dont think Flash knew Hal was there either, but I dont see that as mattering much since he knew *Supes* was there, and would/COULD give a good chase if/when he wanted.

Im not saying FLash was going FTL in that 2nd bit, but just showing that GLs can keep up with a speedster of his caliber; in that last example Id say he was VERY close to LS, given wat he did.

I agree w/ya in that any fight w/them is undoubtedly gonna be a *good* bout.
