Your favorite character that not many other people like/liked...

Mine was Quasar. I remember when I was growing up Wendell Vaughn was the coolest Superhero ever. He was like Green Lantern except he had no yellow weakness, and had two bands instead of one ring. His "quantum jump" was the coolest thing ever too. Actually folding space, crossing over the fold and then unfolding space again. It was a new concept to me and I thought it was pretty cool.

The guy went toe to toe with Silver Surfer and let Surfer pound him to save the universe, got the Starbrand for a while, which was pretty pimptacular in and of itself, hung out with my favorite speedster Makkari, and even knocked out a rogue watcher with one punch. Ahhh memories...

So what was your favorite character that you just didn't understand how everybody else in the world didn't absolutely just love?

Pretty much every original X-Men villain. Unus the Untouchable, the Vanisher, Mimic. Pretty much, just go through "Essential X-Men #1" and pick out every villain.

i actually LOVED the new mutants Warlock! that guy was so damn funny. i hated it when he died. that was kinda sad. if you look at those early NM stories, they still hold up pretty well!

now as for my favorite characters not many people liked...

Thunderbird! poor bastard.
Rom the Spaceknight.
Monel. I keep thinking since they insist on bringing him up every other issue in Superman they must be close to busting him loose from the Phantom zone...and yet they still keep him in there.

I always thought Dr. Strange was the coolest guy ever. Not sure if alot of other kids thought he made a good superhero, but I knew better.

Few others if I can remember them, lol. I feel like so many mainstream characters are all people know now.

I liked the Black Knight as the quasi leader of The Avengers, oh ho and Hawkeye. *Shrugs* I'm weird like that.

Still you know what superheroes I could never get into? The Fantastic Four....I don't like them. Unless it's just Sue and Johnny, or cross over stuff I can stomache them for. Them in their own titles though, nope not for me.

oh lord the list is long! lol never much cared for Dr. Strange and i absolutely HATE Ghostrider. in face, aside from iceman and the beast, i pretty much hated the whole Champions line up. Nighthawk was another one i never could stand. such a Batman knockoff without anything cool in the offing. never been a big Sue Storm fan either till she went all Malice. then she rocked!
