What if Billy Batson was struck by regular lightning?

If Billy Batson was just walking down the street in a bad thunderstorm and was struck by lighting, would it fry him, like anyone else? Or would it bounce off him? It shouldn't cause him to change, because it's not magic lighting.

I think he would die/fry, except if given a special circumstance (IE - intervention by the wizard or whatever).

To be frank. I have NO idea what's going on with Captain Marvel at the moment (aside from marvel family appearances in stuff like 52, can various cris-eez), I'm more familiar with the older versions...

The Marvel family is a Catch-22 in my eyes. Its only really appealing when treated with a retro vibe... unfortunately, I think that retro vibe puts most people off.
