fave single ish would be ASM #542; Kingpins LONG DESERVED beat down......FTW!!

fave multipart storyline would be the Sinestro Corps War over in the GL-books; yea, Geoff Jones is a retcon-crazy lunatic (guilty of atleast 30+ "Geoff-cons" during his run on the property) but I *still* loved thats story.

All Star Superman #6-9 was very imaginative and it was fun to read. Morrison (along with Gail Simone and Mark Waid) seems to be one of the few comics writers who admires them without having to rewrite the genre for the sake of maturity-addled kidults.

Shazam! And the Monster Society of Evil, by Jeff Smith. The most fun I had reading a comic this year was this book. It was funny, full of action and Smith’s art showed that in every panel. If you haven't read it, pick it up.
