Reviewer Comments:

Candy or Medicine is a fun and eclectic collection of comics. The subject matter and styles vary. While some comics can only be described as "out there," others are humorous and at times whimsical. Art styles range from very basic to detailed to downright crazy! Each of the contributors has their own very clear and distinct voice, and there's an over all feeling of freeness with these comics. This could, in part, be due to the comics are of the "done for fun" variety, and not for any other collections or on-going series. This particular issue has comics from ten artists from six states and three countries contributing, plus features sketches by comics veteran Matt Feazell. So, there's quite a variety in there. All that, and for only a dollar, Candy or Medicine is quite a nice little package. I'll be looking forward to future collections.
