Publisher: Viper Comics (http://www.vipercomics.com/)
Writer: Jason M. Burns
Art: Joe Eisma
$3.25, 32 pages, Color
Safety Content Label: PG
Publishers Blurb:
After surviving the maniacal onslaught of The Flesh Collector in the first critically acclaimed series, private investigator Alan Sirois and his paraplegic ventriloquist dummy partner, Mr. Bloomberg, return in this action filled and humor laced sequel that finds the mismatched duo aboard a mystery cruise where a real mystery has started to unfold.
Reviewer Comments:
A most entertaining and unique idea for a story. One man, two personalities. Done before you say? Well not like this. Alan Sirois' second personality exists simultaneously with him.. through his ventriloquist dummy, aka Mr. Bloomberg. The two form a detective team and Alan is apparently unaware that Bloomberg is not an actual person. The art is done well and shows Viper Comics to be a professional publisher that employs artists like Eisma who do top notch work. This is the first comic I've read from Viper Comics and I have to say I am impressed and look forward to more work from them.
Good story. Good art. Good book. Go buy it.
