Publisher: Viper Comics (http://www.vipercomics.com/)
Writer: Jason M. Burns
Art: Joe Eisma
$3.25, 32 pages, Color
Safety Content Label: PG-13
Publishers Blurb:
After surviving the maniacal onslaught of The Flesh Collector in the first critically acclaimed series, private investigator Alan Sirois and his paraplegic ventriloquist dummy partner, Mr. Bloomberg, return in this action filled and humor laced sequel that finds the mismatched duo aboard a mystery cruise where a real mystery has started to unfold.
Reviewer Comments:
The second installment of this four part series keeps the mystery moving right along as crew members turn up missing, panty raids abound and one of my personal suspects in this mystery ends up dead. The art is on par with the last issue and Sirois's apparent multiple personality is still in full swing. I keep half way expecting to see Bloomberg talk when Sirois isn't around, but that has yet to happen, if it ever will. Crazy clues are left for you to try and figure out, everything from termites in Bloomberg's bed to Sirois unknowingly getting a tattoo, what does it all mean? With just two more issues left in this mystery and my detective skills hitting a brick wall, I guess we'll just have to wait and find out.
