As Halloween night descends on the small town of Russellville, Illinois, a young girl named Lisa desperately tries to escape the terror unleashed by Michael Myers. Meanwhile, Ryan enacts his plan of revenge against Michael for the murder of his wife, but how far is he willing to go in his hunt for The Shape?

Continuing the classic story from the original John Carpenter film!

Reviewer Comments:

Jumping in at the third issue, I wasn't as familiar with what the series is about, as I could be, but being familiar with the movies, I really had no problem getting acclimated. The story follows a girl who had a haunting encounter with Michael Myers as a teenage babysitter, an experience she never got over. Flash forward to her as an adult and Michael had decided to reappear in her life!

Plenty of knives, guts, and blunt objects (among other horror staples) to keep Halloween/Horror fans happy. Stephan Hutchinson and Tim Seeley seem to make a good team up, bringing the haunting aura of Michael Myers to the comic book page. Coming in at issue three, it was clear that I could have benefitted from having read the previous issues, as some aspects of the story were slightly confusing to me (and being a mini-series, I can't really begrudge them for not wasting time bringing the reader up to speed each issue). Overall, though, I found it to be a good adaptation/continuation of the films.
