Publishers Blurb:
Journey back to a time when magic still thrived, dragons and fallen gods roamed the earth, and man was just a myth. The Garden of Eden was a place of perfect peace and tranquility. That is, until its keeper, Adam, went missing. Now, his newly created wife, Eve, must venture outside the safety of the Garden for the first time to go in search of her husband, all the while battling monsters, beast men, wizards, demons, and even the gods themselves. It's the fun and adventure of Samurai Jack mixed with the epic scope of Lord of the Rings.
Reviewer Comments:
The next installment to the biblical renderings of Howard is set a few weeks after Eve and Asherah have left the safety of Eden. Eve shows off her physical prowess in a fight against some seemingly menacing Golems and the duo make their way to Jupiter City, a hive of evil, false gods run by none other than Greek Mythology's Zeus.
Eve starts asking questions to a reluctant Asherah, and it looks more and more like she's not going to need any fruit from the Tree of Knowledge to learn the ways of the world. We get a visit from her old dragon friend, Nakash who fails in an apparent attempt to bring her back to Eden but ends up just making more trouble for Eve.
Howard keeps with his usual tasteful rendition of Eve even when she is in the nude in this issue, however the safety content label rating went slightly up because of a second teaser story in the back of the book for The Underworld Railroad.
