DC has announced that Paul Levitz and up-and-comer artist, Yildiray Cinar are set to launch a new LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES #1 this spring. Apparently, this is in addition to writing ADVENTURE COMICS, which will also feature LEGION stories, as Levitz revealed in an interview on I09 (http://io9.com/5447430/). LEGION OF SUPERHEROES #1 is due out in May. levitz's run on ADVENTURE COMICS, entitled SUPERBOY AND THE LEGION OF SUPERHEROES: SECRET ORIGIN will start up in June.
Levitz says he's thrilled to be back on the Legion:
“It’s such fun to be back in the future, blowing up planets, undoing Legion marriages, revealing unrevealed factoids, and starting improbable new relationships. If there’s a better job in comics than writing the Legion, with its vast cast and creative opportunities, I’ve never held it.”
