Journey back to a time when magic still thrived, dragons and fallen gods roamed the earth, and man was just a myth. The Garden of Eden was a place of perfect peace and tranquility. That is, until its keeper, Adam, went missing. Now, his newly created wife, Eve, must venture outside the safety of the Garden for the first time to go in search of her husband, all the while battling monsters, beast men, wizards, demons, and even the gods themselves. It's the fun and adventure of Samurai Jack mixed with the epic scope of Lord of the Rings.

Reviewer Comments:

The first word that comes to mind after reading this issue is "WOW". I never saw the plot twists in this book coming, and I usually pride myself in being able to do that. Never doubt that in this book EVERYONE seems to have an agenda. Eve discovers some startling revelations in this issue and her cherubim companion finds that "life isn't fair" isn't just the adage of whiners across the globe. Treachery abounds at every corner in this issue and guaranteed to keep you turning the pages and looking for the next issue.

Howard definitely has a great capacity for imagination and it's fascinating to see how he writes about what might have been. The artwork is once again of the highest caliber and Howard's ability to keep Eve interesting and yet still innocent is uncommon... good, but uncommon. This issue again get's the same safety content rating as the previous because of a sneak peak at another title, The Expendable One. If your comic store doesn't pick up Viper comics... go somewhere else.
