The New Spawn Creative Team Who do you think?

With David Hine and Brian haberlin leaving the title.

TMP has hinted that two founding Image Comics Creators will take over the title.

A major, but secretive announcement, came when Keatinge revealed a brand new creative team will be taking over Spawn—both of whom are former Image founders.

"One of them is a guy who hasn't been doing work with us for about 10 years," said Keatinge. "Sorry, I'm not allowed [to say who]. I was told I was going to get shot."

My thoughts

Its Lee and Mcfarlane.

If it is those two, Spawn will regain the number one spot on the charts.

Jim Lee would be cool, but I'd be really surprised.

I'd like to see McFarlane do it again. McFarlane has been involved with image, but hasn't been drawing for a long time. That would be pretty cool to see what he's like nowadays.

Could be Dale Keown.... but I'm sure he's hard at work on Pitt #2... er heheheh.... I guess that eventually came out!

It's probably Whilce Portacio or Stephen Platt or Jae Lee or someone like that.. hahah or Liefield.

I hope your right. Many people seem to believe its Whilce and Mcfarlane.

Well, for the hype... which now I've seen interviews with McFarlane and what not.....

IT had better be Lee. If they hype it all up and it isnt... its gonna be like.. "oh... okay" and I get the impression they want to reach a whole new fanbase with this creative shift, so anyone but lee or McFarlane drawing might be somewhat anti-climatic, marketing-wise.

I really want to see McFarlane drawing again.

I think you're right.... I was mostly joking about Platt.

I'd say Portacio more likely than Lee because A) Lee probably still has obligations with All-Star Batman and B) Lee is not exactly Mr. On-Time lately, and I'm sure that would be a concern of Todd's before getting Lee on board.
