I don't care what anyone says. But I think it's a rad comic book. If you like homages, this is the super hero soap opera you've been waiting for.

The green guy with the mohawk fin thing right? I mainly stick to marvel and dc but maybe I'll pick up a copy next time I go to the comic shop.

that's the thing, it's one of thoes books that might not make much sence checking out one issue. Image recently released an essential savage dragon. I'm actually not sure if it's called essential but it's in the same vain as the marvel essentials. It prints the first 25 issues ( I think) in black and white and it's dirt cheap. Seriously Savage Dragon kicks ass!

I used to read this comic for the first 2 years but than it got to silly for me. I haven't checked it out in a while now.
I even picked up the statue of him. It still looks cool.

I read SD for years from issue one of the original mini.... then, at some point, fell off. I've recently gotten back into it-- bought archives 1 and 2 to catch up a little (there's plenty that comes after that though). I have to agree that if you haven't read it before, it would be hard to pick up from a current issue... but I think its worth getting into.

Savage Dragon has always had a great feel to it. Its unabashed superhero goodness. Plus, Erik Larsen is one of my favorite artists in the biz... always has been!

Literally, no joke, after i posted this I was in an Erik Larsen mood and did a google search for a current interview....

and found yours!

I enjoyed it thoroughly, by the way. And dang... You've gotten some fantastic interviews...
