Reviewer Comments:
Templar is another story that follows a three way war between Heaven, Hell, and Earth in the modern age. This epic redundant battle is fought by multiple sides and this story follows The Templar. (which is an ancient religious and powerful brother hood chosen to fight evil)

In this particular story line The Templar take on a recon style mission where they must work together with a Nephilim (which is the product of either a demon or an angel pairing up with a human.) These super powered humans aren’t much liked among the Templars, and on top of that one, she’s a girl. (and if we know our abstinent all male cults, that doesn’t bode well with them.) So a little sexual tension mixed with some noir type hints of further story, leads us into a fight against super powered humans and demons. Which makes you wonder if these Templar may have bitten off more then they can chew.

The story has a decent background that may be over used, and you can see that research was done for some of the more philosophical points made here and there throughout the comic. All in all though the comic doesn’t really suck you into the story as it should. The dialogue is a bit jumpy, and at times it seems as if you missed something. The artwork is pretty decent however, and I hope that the characters given some time and further issues could possibly grow on you. With the first read however I’m not bought, I like the idea…even though its slightly over done, and I think in the future there’s a chance of a good comic, right now however I’m not feeling it. To me Templar, and possibly the whole Twilight Crusades just hits me as another good vs. evil storyline.
