Publishers Blurb:
The Foundation has now revealed itself to one unlikely man and recruited him into their ranks. Using the lost texts of Nostradamus, the knowledge of the future is theirs. But it's subject to interpretation. Will they read the text correctly, or make a crucial mistake? A vibrant new thriller with the action of 24 but using the tone of X-Files!
Reviewer Comments:
Boom! Studios continues to impress and I quickly find myself becoming a fan of this title. Rozum's imagination is very entertaining and i find myself eager to read the next issue before I even finish writing this review for the second installment of "The Foundation".
The storyline continues with Stephen Valentine having moral issues with the work he's doing for the Foundation but finds himself unable to leave the agency just yet. The interpretations of Nostradamus' predictions are handled well in the book and make you think "this could really happen". Books like this, that paint the world of the authors imagination for you are why I love comics.
If this story was ever optioned to become a movie, I could see it becoming a very successful box office hit. Good on you Boom! Studios.
