Reviewer Comments:
For me, Tales of the TMNT is the epitome of what comics should be, fun, familiar characters, and a self contained story. Okay, maybe I'm going a little overboard there... I like me my series and story arcs too, but some times it's nice to have a book you can jump right into, cut loose, and enjoy a story and walk away satisfied. That's exactly what Tales of the TMNT gives you.

That said, lets get this series of reviews started with #42. It's a cool layered flashback yarn with Casey Jones retelling an encounter that he and Raph had with a giant extra-terrestrial robot to some "government agents." Mostly its a comical action story that has all the fun you'd expect from a good ol' Raph and Casey team up. Why are the agents so interested in Casey's story? You'll have to find out by reading the shocking conclusion to this fun story (no spoilers here)!

Over all, well executed. Lots of humor from Dan Berger's end and beautiful art by Jim Lawson... how could you go wrong?
