Galactus Vs Asgard

If Galactus showed up to Asgard for "lunch", could the Asgardians fend him off? I mean the Fantastic Four did manage to do it. Surely Thor and the rest of the Asgardians could pull something out of their asses.

If Galactus shows up hungry, Asgard has a decent chance, since it was established on herochat that Galactus can only gain significant sustenance from planets (therefore he cannot replenish himself during combat), and his feat to energy expenditure ratio qualifies him for handicapped parking.

Galactus eats it. The only reason the ff stopped him was because the good guys have to win in a battleboard they don't have to win.

I think it's the way all characters are written nowadays with the inconsistencies piling up on each other whereas in the past it wasn't as inconsistent.
