Reviewer Comments:
As I began reading Ezra, I found myself very intrigued, it seemed quite promising (the key word being seemed). The first few pages began very well by using a good combination of dialogue and adult-based humor; however, soon it became G-Rated and the dialogue quite repetitive. Given the first issue, I tried to give it a bit of leeway; however, I found the phrase “I died” or references around this continuing to repeat itself. The book didn’t seem to flow well either. I found myself continuously seeing events happen, and then immediately seeing the characters explain that they had happened. It was quite annoying. On the positive side, the idea of this book seems to have potential; however, it needs a lot of work. I’ll be reviewing issue 2 shortly; so let’s hope its improved.
