Chaos War: Dead Avengers #1. A morbid title, but fun nonetheless! Lets take a quick look at some of the books headed your way on 11/17/10.
Death or last appearances of SOME of the "death characters" appearing in the new Avengers mini.
Swordman "died" in Giant Size Avengers #2 (1974) $26
Deathcry "died" in Annihilation Conquest Starlord #2 (2007) $3
Vision "died" in Avengers #500 (2004) $6
Captain Marvel "died" in Marvel Graphic Novel (no number) Death of Captain Marvel from legend Jim Starlin (1984) $26. This is the best of the "death" bunch as far as your collection is concerned. It's a monumental issue from one of the industry's most talented creators Jim Starlin. Nuff said.
Girls are another focal point this week. Well......they're always a focal point, but lets save that conversation for another day. Check out the new Anya Corazon series, aka Amazing Spider-Girl #1. Her first appearance was back in 2004 in Amazing Fantasy #1 ($3). Tim Seeley's Hack/Slash will be showcasing some talents from the industry to benefit anyone that has not gotten paid (stiffed) for their work. Buy Hack/Slash Trailers Part 2 to support the cause! Powergirl fights a new female adversary in Powergirl #18.
Batman delivers 2 books this week. Batman Inc #1 and the Batman the Return #1. That "blacked out" cover is quite annoying, but another couple of days isn't going to kill us. Right?
Justice League of America #51 introduces a new villian, the very hot Superior series continues, Osborn gets his own comic, and not quite sure what to make of the Nightmaster: Monsters of Rock #1. And don't forget to check out Mad Special: Spy vs Spy #1 for some Mad magazine crazy fun!
See you next week, Invest wisely.
