Reviewer Comments:
Kid Houdini and the Silver-Dollar Misfits is an interesting comic seemingly geared for a younger audience by Dwight Macpherson. In this story Macpherson writes the character of Harry Houdini as a child who solves mysteries with his side-show friends known as the "Silver-Dollar Gang". The Silver-Dollar Gang will solve your mystery somewhat like the the mysteries in Scooby Doo, but they charge you a silver dollar. Made up of conjoined twins, a strong boy missing the entire lower half of his body, a snake charmer and Harry Houdini himself, this gang of kids seems in for a few adventures that could be entertaining. As this was just a teaser story to get you into the book for free comic book day, I can't say too much about it, but the art was done well and the story could be something the younger audience may just embrace. There was also a few pages at the end of the book with a teaser for the Sleep Truth, written by Jason M. Burns.
