Publishers Blurb:
Wulf and Batsy thought they had enough problems, as a werewolf and vampire couple trying to keep a low profile in a human world. But then they wandered into a small, rural town where every citizen seems to have a sharp eye for trouble, and an even sharper pitchfork. Sometimes, nightmares are scarier from the monsters’ point of view.

Reviewer Comments:
Wulf and Batsy is a comic about a nomadic twosome who are trying to hide their dark secrets so that they can finally find a place to settle down and call home. Celvic (Wulf), is a Werewolf and Batsy is called a witch in the issue but she seems to share some characteristics with Vampires. She sleeps all day, not in a coffin like you might suppose but in a bath tub filled with water and some sort of mysterious drops of from a potion.

While Batsy sleeps, Celvic is out inadvertently getting the two into more trouble and soon the town is in quite a stir and the citizens are ready to defend their livestock by whatever means necessary. Instead of the town's perspective of being "attacked" by a wolverine, this title gives us the point of view from the wolverine trying to simply exist in a world run by man.

The title got the explicit content label because of one frame where Batsy appears in the nude before she "goes to sleep" in the tub. Nothing major, but you might not want your kids to see it, so it's just fair warning for you.

As with many number one issues, there wasn't a whole lot to this issue, and the character base seems is being built. A decent read, and the art was adequate... nothing spectacular but it got the point of the story across.
