Reviewer Comments:
The last issue of Drafted was reviewed by former Project Fanboy reviewer pete26. After his short but insightful review of the title, and the hype I'd heard about it reading it myself was a no brainer.

The storyline behind Drafted is not an exceptional one, the earth is going to war with aliens. This has been done in the past in several stories from several different authors, however the way Mark Powers handles the emotional interactions, and the way the story flows seemlessly with unparalleled creativity excites you and draws you deep into the world he's created. His brand of story telling is intoxicating and leaves you wanting more. The art delivered by Isaacs is stunning and enhances the reading experience of the title all that much more.

In this issue we see the drafted personnel on a 48 hour pass from their training and the world they come back to visit is a far cry from the one they once knew. Factions that used to fight for hundreds of years no longer take up arms against each other and society seems to have been restructured for what seems to be the better.

New York City seems to be a busy hub of activity guarded by citizens of earth as well as aliens who seem to be working alongside humanity to help them repel other alien invaders. With Alien technology patrolling the streets and ships patrolling the skies, some of the panels of Drafted remind me of the blockbuster hit I Robot times ten.

With the title slated to be a motion picture, I think DDP has found their hook with Drafted. Definitely give this one a chance.
