Reviewer Comments:
Three stories, three bizarre twists, one ancient tentacle loving god. This being my first Cthulhu tale to read I can’t really look back and compare it to any of the other installments before. Though I’m sure with this particular line of stories that’s not what their trying to do. These stories come at you in the old school Tales From the Crypt way, or like any Horror Anthology would be put together. Though in this instance all of these stories follow some aspect of the beloved character from H.P. Lovecraft’s stories.
Each story is brought to you in different fashions, from old school mystery comics, to crisp clean computer colored panels. Each story comes from a different set of writers and artists, thus granting the one comic more diversity. I have to admit not all of the tales are great, but there are the ones that are good, and for the most part I enjoyed this particular book. So if your looking for something to keep you occupied, and your mind guessing at what twisted Cthulhu loving these guys can throw at you, then definitely check out these lines of stories. If Horror Anthologies aren’t your thing though…..then why are you reading this review?? Hmm, really?
