In this final issue to the four issue mini series, the artwork continues to be beautifully depicted: the dark, harrowing world that both The Punisher and the noir genre embody is illustrated here.

The colors used are well chosen as they complement the art and the story relying on darker shades with few if any bright colors.

The writing is up to a reasonable standard but at the same time doe not excite the reader to continue. It is not bad; it is just adequate. Further, although The Punisher has been re-imagined well in the noir genre, the book lacks the edge to make the reader want more if it were not the final book. This is probably because the noir genre has seen so many characters like The Punisher in other mediums that the change does not feel as special as it does with Spider-man, X-Men and Darede
