Okay, so I could go into a big description about the level of tension in this book and talk about how dark some of it was, but it's a lot easier to show you...



THAT is the tone of this book throughout. Imagine Marvel's Punisher with just a tad more heart, and you've got Nola. This story is one big locomotive train barreling towards a final showdown with everyone who's wronged Nola.

This entire mini-series has been strong in both its writing and its art, and this issue was the payoff. Some people die along the way (you'll have to find out who and how many by going to your comic book store), and the color really makes the blood pop. Fans of the many crime series that have hit shelves recently will not want to miss this series either by finding the back issues or getting the trade when it comes out.

There are a lot of talking points in this issue, but I don't want to give anything away. I just want you to go BUY it. It's that good.
